Would you like to enjoy your own outdoor relaxation area? However, do you think that a large garden or a huge terrace is necessary for this? None of these things! It is enough that your apartment has a balcony! Below you will find some tips on how to arrange this space in a stylish and functional way!

Remember about the insolation level

Before you start seriously planning a balcony arrangement, you need to remember about a few aspects. It is very important to locate the apartment itself, and thus the balcony. The level of sunshine determines, for example, how much and what type of vegetation you can grow. There are also issues related to the roofing - if you live on the top floor and you do not decide to use awnings, remember that the weather can be capricious, so the equipment of an unprotected balcony must be largely resistant to weather conditions.

The floor, i.e. the ground, is functionality!

There are no well-decorated balconies without a properly finished floor. Porcelain tiles definitely have the most advantages in this context. It is a universal solution, resistant to operation, the influence of external factors, easy to clean, and at the same time available in many variants (including those imitating other materials).

Of course, it is worth focusing primarily on frost-resistant non-slip stoneware. Alternatives? Some users choose wooden floors, but this solution, although visually effective, is less practical. It is also worth mentioning the artificial grass - which is deceptively similar to natural grass, which will make you feel like in a real garden!

Own garden on the balcony

Without a doubt, nothing will make you feel like in a garden more than the vegetation itself! The possibilities are almost endless (the only important factor is the aforementioned position of the balcony in relation to the sun).

Due to their utility values, the most popular flowers will be potted flowers. Small trees and decorative pots also work well on larger balconies. It can also be a good idea to arrange a small greengrocer or a corner with herbs.

Comfortable, stylish furnishings

Once you've created a green, natural environment, it's time to think about comfortable furnishings where you can spend long hours on the balcony. You can find many collections in the market in both modern and classic styles.

The basic equipment is of course a table and chairs, you can think about buying a cabinet or a small chest of drawers. It should be relatively resistant to the influence of external factors and have a folding function / give the possibility of permanent mounting.

Tasteful additions

Other additions to consider include appropriate lighting that complements the whole arrangement, which will make relaxing in the evening time, stylish designer decorations and covers guaranteeing privacy.

Comprehensive development can also be an interesting option, but it is a solution that largely prevents relaxation in the open air.

Taking Proper Care Of A Paint Brush - How to

It's amazing how poorly people treat their paint brushes. I've been in the painting business for over 25 years and during that time I have seen some funny looking brushes. However, when you are paying $25 to $50 dollars for a quality brush, then brush abuse is no laughing matter. Poor care of your paint brush will drastically shorten its life. Described below are some procedures that a house painter or homeowner should follow when using, cleaning and storing brushes. First you need to consider the type paint you are going to be using before choosing your brush. Will you be using oil or latex paint? Do you know if you should use a Nylon or a Nylon Polyester mix, or China Bristle brush for the paint you have purchased? Always use the right brush for the type of paint you are going to use. Never use a Nylon brush in oil base paint. If you use a Nylon brush in oil paint, the oils and chemicals in the paint will permanently change how the brush bristles feel. ...
